On the day of Tuesday, December 23, the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, extended a formal invitation to the Olympic gold medalist Neeraj Chopra along with his partner Himani Mor to his official residence situated at 7 Lok Kalyan Marg. During the meeting, the Prime Minister took to social media and shared some pictures; he described the meeting as warm and productive and said that they covered a wide range of topics with sports being the most discussed.
The images revealed PM Modi having a very interesting talk with Neeraj, which was the government’s ongoing support of sports persons who have made the country proud internationally and brought such a good name to our country.
A Mixed 2025 Season for Neeraj Chopra
The Indian superstar Neeraj Chopra who has the most successful, among Indian athletes, had a mixed sports experience in 2025. Doha Diamond League was one of the major turnarounds where he eventually smashed the much-bothered 90-meter barrier. His 90. 23, meter throw was a new personal record even though he only finished second to Germany’s Julian Weber who threw 91. 06 meters.
