PM Modi Inaugurates Rashtriya Prerna Sthal in Lucknow on Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s Birth Anniversary

To mark the 100th anniversary of the birth of the former PM and Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee Premier Narendra Modi, on Thursday, inaugurated the Rashtriya Prerna Sthal in Lucknow.

The memorial of the nation is a remembrance of the character, values and contribution of Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s contribution in the service of our nation. Alongside the great leaders like Dr. Syama Prasad Mokerjee and Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya memorial also pays tribute to and honors the two leaders.

The memorial, filled with 65 foot high bronzes representing the three stalwarts is sprawled over 65 acres in the Vasant Kunj, a region in Lucknow. The sculptures represent their ideals, goals and contribution to the progress of India.

When the event at the time of the inauguration, PM Modi also paid tribute to the three leaders with a bouquet of flowers. Alongside the Prime Minister and minister of Defence Rajnath Singh, Governor of Uttar Pradesh Anandiben Patel, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath as well as Deputy Chief Ministers, and many other prominent leaders attended the ceremony.

The Prime Minister visited The Rashtriya Prerna Sthal Museum which is situated next to the memorial. The museum is designed in a lotus form and is spread over an area of around 98 thousand square feet.

Inside the museum, it tells the story of India’s nation. It focuses on the leadership experience and achievements that were made by Vajpayee, Mookerjee, and Upadhyaya. It utilizes cutting-edge digital technology and immersive display to provide viewers with an immersive learning experience.

The government views its Prerna Sthal as an important move. It’s designed to keep in place the ideals of an exemplary leadership style, in-depth knowledge of the system and public service that the present generation has learned from their predecessors and will transfer to the next generations.

Today the Premier Minister Narendra Modi also remembered Atal Bihari Vajpayee in his social media profiles. On X the account, he said that Vajpayee was deeply loved by Indians and that he laser concentrated his entire existence on creating a nation.

“He was more than an impressive speaker as well as a passionate poetry writer,” Prime Minister Modi wrote. Modi also declared that India will be Vajpayee’s leader and her guide for the whole-round development.

The inauguration of the Rashtriya Prerna Sthal is a pledge to remember the values that shaped India as well as the individuals who gave up their lives for the nation.
