The veteran actor Piyush Mishra has spoken highly of Ranbir Kapoor, praising his acting skills as well as his stoic personality. In a recent conversation with Lallantop Mishra noted that it’s rare for actors to give genuine praise to each other because they are often competing for the same roles however Ranbir Kapoor’s traits make this kind of praise easy and sincere.
Reminiscing about his time working together with Kapoor for Imtiaz Ali’s Rockstar and Tamasha, Mishra stated that Kapoor stood out because of his genuineness and ease. “That actor is truly awe-inspiring. Itna besharam aadmi maine Aaj tak nahi dekha (I have never met anyone so relaxed and unaffected). He is a part of an extended family lineage his grandfather, father and great-grandfather all the way up to Prithviraj Kapoor. However, none of it burdens his. None of it,” Mishra said, declaring Kapoor extremely unaffected by the pressures being part of the Kapoor film family.
In an interview on Curly Tales Mishra expressed his gratitude of the actor, stating that Ranbir Kapoor has not displayed any behavior that resembles a star despite his status as a celebrity. “Ranbir ghazab hai. He’s never a tantrum even though he’s famous. He’s never a problem. He is my most loved actor.” the actor said.
Kapoor’s kindness and generosity are noticed by her co-stars too. The actor Ajinkya Deo, in a recent interview with Varinder Chawla’s crew, stated that He was impressed by Kapoor’s warm and encouraging attitude on the set. In a conversation with them, Deo shared, “RK made me feel comfortable. He would tell me”Sir, beautiful shot. I was awestruck. If someone is encouraging you to do something like that… It was even told me, ‘Sir you’re not looking old What are you doing to workout?’ I replied”Boss, thank you for your time, RK. Take a look at you and then at me. He was pure in his heart without filters or layers.”
The continuous praise from older actors highlights Ranbir Kapoor’s reputation for being an unflappable performer who can handle his fame without letting it affect his actions.
