Actress Parineeti Chopra and her husband, AAP leader Raghav Chadha, have finally shared the name of their newborn son. The couple revealed that they have named him Neer, a word they describe as “pure, divine and limitless.”
The announcement came through a joint Instagram post where the new parents uploaded a tender photo, both gently kissing their baby’s tiny feet. Along with the image, they wrote, “Jalasya rupam, premasya svarūpam — tatra eva Neer. Our hearts found peace in an eternal drop of life. We named him ‘Neer’ — pure, divine, limitless.”
Parineeti and Raghav welcomed their baby boy on October 19, sharing the happy news with a soft, celadon-themed post. Their message read, “He’s finally here! Our baby boy. And we literally can’t remember life before! Arms full, hearts even fuller. First we had each other, now we have everything.”
The couple tied the knot on September 24, 2023, in Udaipur in a ceremony that beautifully mixed Bollywood warmth with political simplicity. The wedding was attended by close family, friends, and well-known leaders including Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann. Their love story is said to have started years ago in London, where both studied before reconnecting in India.
On the work front, Parineeti’s most recent appearance was in Amar Singh Chamkila, directed by Imtiaz Ali and featuring Diljit Dosanjh. The film, based on the life of the iconic Punjabi musician, premiered on Netflix. Parineeti, who began her acting journey with Ladies vs Ricky Bahl, later earned widespread praise for her lead role in Ishaqzaade opposite Arjun Kapoor.
