Border 2, one of the biggest war films currently under production in Bollywood, has taken an important step forward with actor Ahan Shetty officially wrapping filming and his heartfelt message from set proving immensely moving to viewers around the globe. It follows on from 1997’s Border. 

While Border 1 detailed the Battle of Longewala, Border 2 will focus on India and Pakistan’s 1999 Kargil War – something which already has fans talking. Ahan Shetty took to Instagram and shared behind-the-scenes photographs from the sets, in which he can be seen proudly standing alongside Indian Army personnel as he poses alongside Sunny Deol, Diljit Dosanjh, and Varun Dhawan–who all appear dressed in military uniforms – all dressed for military duties. 

Ahan wrote of their emotional experience:
