Yash Drops Nayanthara’s Killer First Look as Ganga in ‘Toxic’

Fans Go Wild Over the Poster Drop

Down in Chennai, things are heating up for Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups. Geetu Mohandas is directing, Yash is leading the pack, and yesterday they finally showed off Nayanthara as Ganga. Man, this first look has everyone talking. The movie’s coming March 19, 2026—right in the middle of Eid, Ugadi, and Gudi Padwa festivities.

Ganga Looks Like She Runs the Show

That poster? Straight fire. Nayanthara’s standing there, gun in hand, looking totally in control. Her eyes say “don’t mess with me,” and the background’s this fancy casino entrance all lit up. It’s glamorous but dangerous, like she’s the boss walking into her own world. You can feel the power—she’s tough, stylish, and ready for whatever comes. Fits perfect with Yash’s huge new adventure, pulling you into this grown-up fairy tale full of edge.

What the Director Said About Nayanthara

Geetu Mohandas was all smiles talking about it. “We all know Nayanthara’s been killing it for 20 years,” she said. “But Toxic lets her blow up in a whole new way. I wanted to show her different, and during shoots, I saw her real self-match Ganga spot on. It’s not fake—it’s her being deep, real, steady, and straight-up honest. Found my character and a good friend too.”

Yash Back with a Bang, Plus Big Names

Yash, our Rocking Star from KGF: Chapter 2 that broke all records, is going even bigger here. The hype’s real across the industry. We’ve seen Kiara Advani as Nadia already, and Huma Qureshi as the mysterious Elizabeth got huge cheers.

Shot Big, Team of Pros Behind It

Yash and Geetu wrote it together. They filmed in Kannada and English at the same time, planning dubs for Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam—you name it. Aiming straight for the world stage.

The crew’s top-notch too. Rajeev Ravi on camera (he’s got National Awards), Ravi Basrur doing the music that hits hard, Ujwal Kulkarni editing it tight, TP Abid building those epic sets. Action’s handled by JJ Perry from Hollywood (John Wick guy), plus Anbariv and Kecha Khamphakdee—both award winners. Get ready for stunts that’ll have you gripping your seat.

Big Release on the Horizon

Venkat K. Narayana and Yash are producing under KVN and Monster Mind Creations. This film mixes a fairy tale vibe with real grit, drama, and Yash’s star power. Nayanthara jumping in as Ganga? Hype’s through the roof. Cannot wait to see if it’s the next massive hit when it drops March 19, 2026.
