Dhurandhar is continuing its spectacular reign at the box office as it is flying past the ₹150 crore mark in just five days of its release. The movie starring Ranveer Singh and directed by Uri filmmaker Aditya Dhar has secured this record barely three days after its entry into the ₹100-crore club making it undoubtedly one of the biggest box office juggernauts.
A Strong Comeback After Monday Dip
After witnessing a sharp 46% decline on Monday, the movie made a strong comeback on December 9 by registering a good 15% increase. The upward trend has been a great support to Dhurandhar for a long domestic box office tank run.

Trade Experts Call It ‘Unstoppable’
Quite an extraordinary momentum was the subject of praise by a well-known trade analyst Taran Adarsh: he wrote in his tweet:
“UNSTOPPABLE – UNSHAKABLE… #Dhurandhar has set the box office on fire… East, West, North, South – it’s #Dhurandhar mania everywhere. The film is excellent at multiplex chains all over the country, and the heartland has also been great on the decisive Monday.”
Moreover, he shared that the Monday’s collections in several locations exceeded the Friday numbers—a very rare occurrence that takes place only when the word-of-mouth is extraordinarily positive.
Ranveer Singh’s Biggest Hit in Six Years
Moreover, the movie has an ensemble of stars such as Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Rakesh Bedi, Gaurav Gera, Sara Arjun, and Saumya Tandon.
Dhurandhar is going to be the highest-grossing movie of Ranveer Singh after the pandemic period, thus overtaking the previous hits like:
Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani
Gully Boy (₹139.63 crore)
83 (₹107.31 crore)
Considering its current pace, the movie is expected to cross several more milestones in the coming days.
