9-Seater Aircraft Crash-Lands Near Rourkela, All Onboard Safe Rourkela, Odisha

Saturday saw a small private plane skid off the edge near Rourkela’s airstrip in Odisha’s Jalda – nine people aboard, including two pilots. Trouble struck mid-lift-off toward Bhubaneswar. Bodies shaken, none critically harmed. Luck held tight that morning as metal met dirt without worse outcome. All eight emerged with injuries, yet stable. Takeoff meant flight plans gone sharp wrong before wheels left ground. Dust rose, alarms silent after impact. Not every scare ends beyond repair. This one stopped just short of tragedy.

A sudden problem struck the plane just after it left the ground. This flight, run by IndiaOne Air, landed hard near Jagada block, not far from where it took off. Early details point to something breaking inside the machine. That breakdown might be why it had to come down so fast.

Fear ran high after the crash, yet authorities said everyone survived. Injuries affected every person on board, though quick response teams moved them to a medical center close by for care.

Emergency Response and Rescue

Right away, when word came through, crews headed fast toward where it happened. From both Rourkela and also Panposh fire centers, engines rolled out to help pull people free while keeping things under control nearby. Because officials moved without delay, they kept what could’ve grown much worse from spiraling further

Injured Identified

Aircrew hurt in the event go by the names of Captain Naveed Kadanga alongside Co-Pilot Tarun Srivastav. Passengers caught up in the incident include Sushant Kumar Biwal, followed by Anita Sahu, then Sunil Agarwal, also Sabita Agarwal. Inside hospital settings, workers say everyone wounded is now holding steady while being looked after medically.

Officials Confirm Stability

Bhubaneswar Airport’s chief, Prasanna Pradhan, confirmed the event, adding officials are watching developments carefully. On a separate note, state transport minister BB Jena told people not to worry – those hurt weren’t seriously injured.

Investigation Underway

A plane flew its usual path from Rourkela to Bhubaneswar. Officials at the airport mentioned that a full review will follow, aiming to pinpoint why the landing went wrong while checking for possible equipment issues.

Over there, local officials along with key teams are now on edge, preparing tighter safety steps and support systems nearby. Security has gotten more attention since things shifted earlier today.
